Not at all, we want to Release the stress from the body. After a Release, it is gone. Because of that you will feel calm instantly. There is no need anymore to visualize anything at all.

We focus on the following labels: long COVID, ME/CFS, adrenal fatigue, fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions and burnout. These conditions are a mixture of different kinds of symptoms.

  • The MindBody symptoms include fatigue, pain, vertigo, nausea, depression, migraines, and depersonalization.
  • Stress symptoms: (e.g., IBS, SIBO, tinitus, sleep deprivation, burnout, tiredness, exhaustion, adrenal fatigue, restlessness, and overthinking)
  • Emotional symptoms such as anxiety, POTS, fear disorders, frustration, and helplessness are common.

This depends on how many layers of stress you have suppressed in your body. When this is not a lot, then probably yes. But most people have many different layers of stress that will come up one by one. Each layer can make you experience symptoms, and it is up to you to initiate a Release. Instead of claiming that you will be fully healed in a few months, we know that you have all the tools you need. You can react appropriately to your symptoms and find ways to Release them. Each and everyone will experience a Release in the program. Some will experience this immediately, and others will need some more time for preparation. This is usually the case for those who are extremely traumatized. (Someone with severe trauma tends to hardly remember anything from their childhood.) It is important to know that you can’t heal in a rush; if you rush through the content, you will set yourself up for failure.

Being fully healed or not is not anymore important as you will learn to dissipate your symptoms with a Release, after that you will feel a lot better and the mind calms down. Enjoy that state, because in a few days another layer of stress might cause some other symptoms. In that case we trust that you will know how to work on a Release. This way, healing is not all or nothing and you can make sure that you can have a job and continue your life.

The content in the program is short and to the point. We start working on lowering your stress response immediately, and as a consequence, you will experience more energy. The program itself is not something extra that you do, but more about doing things that you are already doing in a different way. This also counts for reacting to your symptoms. A MindBody symptom is a protection mechanism from the amygdala and the limbic brain to protect you against a certain stressor. Common MindBody symptoms are fatigue, pain, vertigo, nausea, migraines, deperzonalization, jaw pain, etc. These symptoms are extreme and force you to stop and go to rest somewhere. A good indication of MindBody symptoms is that there are good and bad days, and activity can make things worse.

The stressor is heavily loaded with emotions and is very intense. Going through a release will make you experience an overwhelming sensation. Many people suppress certain things because they are necessary for survival. From a childish perspective, your survival depends on not feeling the underlying stressor.

This is usually a very emotional thing; it can be the emotion itself, but also a truth, a fact, or a belief. It is something to which you have an (unconscious) resistance. A trigger can bring this stressor up and make you experience a MindBody symptom for your protection. For everyone, the stressor is different.

We are usually able to find your current stressor within 30 minutes. When we let you focus on your stressors, you will likely experience an increase in symptoms or a complete shutdown where you disconnect from yourself. This happens, especially when the preparation work has not been done.

This varies from person to person. Some only have around 10 layers and experience fast results; others may have 1000 layers. It is important to know that this doesn’t matter that much, as the goal after a release is for you to feel better, symptoms to dissipate, and your mind to calm down. Enjoy that state, because in a few days another layer might come up. If that happens, then we assume that you can release that layer again pretty quickly after the course.

Because your body is in a state of resistance against your stressors, it also causes stress symptoms such as sleep deprivation, feeling wired, tinnitus, nervous system sensitivity, or overthinking.

Without preparation, you will make it very hard for yourself.

No, there are a few steps to take first. The first step is creating a safe and low-stress rhythm, and after that, there needs to be preparation work. The length of this phase depends on the severity of stress suppression. In the Release Program, we guide you through the entire process.

1:1 Coaching sessions are not needed. I know it can be helpful to dive into the root cause with someone else. For this, wait at least until the second part of the program, where you will have practiced some of the release tools by yourself. We recommend taking at least 1 month between sessions, with a maximum of 3 sessions per person in total. This is because the program incorporates everything we do in coaching sessions. We don’t want you to become dependent on our help.

You will calm your body down during the Release process, and as a result, your body’s immune system and other processes can clean up pathogens again. Things such as toxins and heavy metals don’t cause MindBody symptoms. When you become really stressed about these things, you make it harder for yourself. Supplements and other detox tools can be beneficial, but not when you are experiencing chronic stress. When you are back in a state of homeostasis, your body will slowly work on cleaning itself.

We have come to understand that a viral infection is usually the start of a release process. A fever purifies the body, allowing the release of old stressors. Unfortunately, the brain is in resistance, which creates mind-body symptoms. We can turn these symptoms on and off on demand, and therefore you will know exactly what is going on in your unconscious.

Similar to the start of a viral infection, a vaccination can trigger old stress to come to the surface. We have to be careful in this case; people can experience all kinds of issues after vaccinations, but not all of them are stress- and mind-body-related. We have helped many people with post-vaccination health problems, but that was only after determining whether their symptoms were mind-body and stress-related. If we manage to create an increase and decrease in demand, then we are sure we can help. A good indication of mind-body symptoms is that there are good and bad days, and activity can make things worse.

The list is maybe endless, but here are a few of the most common moments before a chronic disease:

  • A pregnancy.
  • The end of a study or stressful job.
  • Excessive long-term stress.
  • A spiritual experience
  • Moving to a safe place
  • Reaching financial safety
  • A holiday
  • The start of a beautiful new job or relationship
  • etc.

Medication and antidepressants, in particular, are psychoblockers. This means that the improvements you experience as a result are a form of emotional blockage. Releasing your emotions is the opposite of blocking them. The latter works best in the long run because suppressing them keeps them stuck in your body.

With the Release program, you will learn to connect with your emotions. Stopping cold turkey with your medication is going to be very hard, or maybe even impossible. Instead, I would recommend that you learn the program’s tools first. After you have finished it, you can experiment with tapering your medication slowly.

You will experience the emergence of a multitude of emotions. Without the tools, this will most likely be too overwhelming. But with the help of the program, you will have all the tools you need to guide yourself through this process.

Healing from a chronic disease, such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, lyme disease, etc., is a complicated journey. You will most likely have heard thousands of stories and strategies already. You probably ask yourself why a release process would be more efficient than something like brain retraining, detoxing, or pacing.

The short answer is that after every release, you are going to feel so much better, and symptoms will dissipate, especially mind-body symptoms. Your stress levels will lower immediately, and this will, over time, have a massive effect on your stress symptoms, such as poor sleep, low thinking levels, eczema outbreaks, and feeling wired.

Instead of slow progress, there will be immediate progress. This changes everything. After a release, you will experience a good phase for a maximum of a few days. When the next layer of stress arises, all you need is a new release to keep feeling better. There are going to be many ups and downs, and that is exactly how we want it.

Of course, you would need to prepare yourself for this first. Without preparation, a release can become challenging or unfeasible. So please don’t skip the beginning of the program and dive unprepared into releases.
